Why we reccomend
The Puppia Soft Harness has to be one of the best harnesses available to Pug and small dog owners, the sizes are smaller than most harness which does cater for smaller dogs. The material is a mesh which is breathable and doesn’t let your Pug get too hot (Which is very important). In the winter, this will easily fit under a warming coat or jacket. The neck has a wide opening, again which is a great thing for Pugs as they tend to have a larger girth neck. This is not so great for other breeds such as a chihuahua as they have thinner necks and the harness may seem very loose. The sizes of the Puppia Soft Harness are generall smaller than most harnesses, so if from one place you are looking at a Medium, the Puppia Soft Harness equivalent is in most cases the Small.
Your pug will most likely fit into a Medium size very soon on as they grow quickly to near their full size. A Medium size will be sufficient for most Adult Pugs too. The material is slightly stretchy which is a good thing as you will need to slide the harness over your dogs head to get the harness on and off.
This harness is adjustable thought an adjustable chest strap with a plastic fastener. This is great as the chest size of the dog can vary quite a lot, this harness caters for that by allowing you to adjust the size of the harness at the chest area. The neck size is not adjustable though, but the material is slightly stretchy.
The Puppia Soft Harness is easy to wash by hand and takes little time to dry.

This harness is brilliant! My pug Ernie kept getting out of his cheap pets-at-home version of this harness so i knew it was time to get a better quality one. I had read good things about this harness so thought i would give it a try. I found it difficult to find to find the right size harness at first as Ernie was in between a medium and a large. In the end, i got a large. When i first put it on, it seemed really big around his neck and i thought he would escape but to this day, he hasn’t escaped from it yet! He doesn’t mind me putting it on him and it does seem really comfortable for him. When my other pugs harness starts to go i will definitely be getting her one too!

This is my second Puppis soft harness. Only replaced old one because my dog chewed the plastic fastener so was unable to use it. Like the product very much, appears comfortable for dog and she does not pull on walks. Also use it in car.
